William Cross comments:  The bawdy verse etc.  would have shocked and disturbed  some  to read or hear  at the time.  Although on the whole dated, with the filthy overtones, innuendo, and non-PC humour, it is still comprehensible.   With today’s  tolerances, human  rights and political correctness aside,  the pieces must surely  raise a chuckle.  Some may infuriate, some are simply dire and vulgar and perhaps should have been excluded. Almost everything recorded in French has been ignored for use in another sphere or sequel title.   The material certainly shows up the “Carry On” type yarns and innuendo as a much tamer type of British humour.

Cross adds “ The book is 100 pages long, over 30,000 words with over 200 End Notes and contains  over  100 images, with several unique   pictures of  Lois and Reggie and their “tribe”.
